More than ten years ago, I embarked on a journey that would forever change my life—the world of pottery. It all began with a single touch, a moulding of clay that captured my heart.

Living in the countryside at the time, I eagerly enrolled in pottery classes, immersing myself in the art every Saturday. My passion for pottery grew. It became more than just a hobby. It became a part of who I was.

Moving into town, I realised I needed a space where creativity could flow freely. So I set up my own pottery studio. I still remember the excitement when I purchased my first potter’s wheel. My studio expanded in both size and ambition. Its walls with shelves filled with tools and materials. My pottery wheel proudly at the centre.

Pottery is a dance of anticipation and surprise. The true nature of a piece remains hidden until it emerges from the kiln. I still have this mix of excitement and nervousness as I open the kiln to reveal the final transformation. That is the beauty of pottery—keeping me on my toes, teaching me humility and reminding me of the magic in creation. No two pieces are ever identical, each bearing its unique imperfections and quirks. And yet, within those quirks lay the unmistakable imprint of love and dedication.

I have poured my heart and soul into each piece, infusing them with a hand-crafted character that I hope will resonate with you. From mugs that warm your hands on chilly mornings to delicate vases that cradle nature’s beauty, each creation holds a piece of my journey.
